As the head of a grassroots development organisation with UNFCCC observer status and the national focal point for the Global Network of civil society’s organisations for Disasters Reduction in Togo, we are involved as planners in development programmes based on nature-based solutions. To this end, our programmes focus on the fight against climate change and disaster risk reduction.
We are currently helping our municipality to draw up its climate and energy ac-tion plan. Involved in the process as a local expert, our participation in this pro-gramme can strengthen our capacity through the various modules that will be developed during the training course. This will enable us to be involved in a community of learning and practice that serves as a vital advisory support for our targets in the communities benefiting from our actions.
