Since we started the EcoHeroes Initiative, Green Growth Africa has reached more than 1300 students and teachers from secondary schools across 15 African countries.

So far, from these secondary school students whom we now call the EcoHeroes, we have seen more than 50 green innovations and solutions developed to solve practical environmental and socio-economic problems in their communities.

Today, we have selected the top 5 that we love and we think you'll love too.

Each of these 5 innovations aligns with different goals in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) @theglobalgoals such as

SDG 3 on Good health and wellbeing
SDG 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation
SDG 7 on Affordable and clean energy
SDG 10 on Reduced Inequality
SDG 13 on Climate Action and SDG 17 on Partnership for the goals.
