For Green Growth Africa, 2024 was a year of breaking new grounds amidst so much more impact!

Here are just a few of the highlights:
📌 We moved into our ultra-modern “Green Growth Hub” in Ibadan, Nigeria, developed from 27,300+ waste plastic bottles! We also provided solar street lights and named 9 streets in the local community for lifelong learning and engagement.
📌Over 8,355 students and 2442 teachers from 78 secondary schools in 18 African countries were impacted directly and indirectly with environmental education through the 2023/2024 Cohort of the EcoHeroes Initiative.
📌 In June 2024, we launched the Green Growth DigiHub for system-wide linkages, networking, visibility & collaboration for actors, experts, and policymakers in the green growth space.
📌As part of our commitment to policy engagement and effective communication, we kick-started the state-of-the-art Green Growth Television & Studios, in Abuja, Nigeria in September 2024. Over 25 audiovisual knowledge programmes were produced with 30+ CSOs and experts across 9 African countries, USA & India featured!
